(it should say page not found when you click on them). If not, go back to your code and make sure you put file names after the a href inside the quotation marks instead of the # sign.
2. Open your index.html (home page) in TextEdit. Select it all and copy the code.
3. Open 4 new files in Text Edit (file>New) and paste the code into them.
4. Customize them to match your sub-pages (change the title, etc)
5. File> Save, and give them the EXACT file names as the whatever.html in your navigation list.
6. Test your links and make sure they all connect.
7. Continue to customize your sites.
Each one should have by Friday a whole page of content specific to that page. Content should be your own creation and can include:
- words (that you write)
- headers (the titles of the paragraphs)
- pictures (that you edit in Photoshop)
- video (copy and paste the embed code)
- sounds (ask ms. Hill for help)
- links (a href code)
- tables ( table row and table data)
- games (copy and paste the embed code)
- etc.
If you don't know the html code for any of these, check back here on the blog, google it, ask your classmates, or ask Ms. Hill for help.
