Start T-Shirts

To begin your T shirt project, follow these instructions carefully and in order.

1. Open a new safari window.
3. In the new window, go to:  http://gallery.me.com/chavezhsart#100006
4. Find & click on your scanned design. (No design scanned? minus twenty points. Quickly find a black and white outline from the internet to use instead. )

5. click on the download icon.  search for the downloads folder and open it. 
6. control +click on your design and choose "Open With.." and then Adobe Photoshop
7. in the top menu, select Image > Mode > RGB Color
8. double click the background layer to unlock it. Name it "Outlines" Click Okay.
9. click on the Outlines layer to make it darker (selected)
10. in the top menu, select Layers > Duplicate Layer. Click Okay.
11. click on the new layer "Outlines Copy" to select it.
12.  change "Normal" to "Multiply" as the layer effect.
13. make a new layer and name it "background colors"
14. click on new layer "background colors" so it is selected.

15. Move it so that is in the middle between "Outlines" and "Outlines Copy"
16. Color this layer with fill bucket (make sure "use all layers" is checked at the top and that the "background colors" layer is selected (darker) the entire time)
17. Make a new layer in between "background colors" and "Outlines Copy"
18. Click the layer to select it. Name it "middle colors"
19. Using a largeish brush, add details on top of the filled color layer.
20. Continue adding layers and details in this manner as time allows.
