Blog Update Day: Self-Portrait

PROFILE PICTURE

Make a self-portrait (art about yourself) using Photoshop.
You may start from a photo or paint directly on a new file.
Practice any of the tools we've learned so far: crop, filters, selection, hue/saturation, and mix and match.
Keep an eye on the time on your own so you'll have plenty of time to finish.

step-by-step
STEP 1 (5 minutes)
Find or take the photo of yourself you want to start with.


STEP 2 (30 minutes)
Alter your photo in photoshop however you'd like (doesn't have to be pop-art)
Try painting on top, adding filters, changing the colors, etc...


STEP 3 (5 minutes)
File> Save as a JPEG
Open a new window in safari and log in to blogger.com
Click on "Edit Photo" (on the left-middle of the page)
Upload your JPEG file you just made.
Save the page and Double-check that it uploaded properly.
Post a comment to THIS entry to let me know you're done.


STEP 4 (rest of the period)
Fill out the rest of your profile information.
Make sure you have your first name in it somewhere (so I know it's you when I'm grading them), but for safety reasons, don't include your full legal name.

If you finish all of this early, you have 2 choices: add a blog post of your choice, or keep playing with your photo in Photoshop (you never know, you might come up with something *even* better!)
